Description:

​Fidelity Investments is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for its Workplace Investing Reporting and Analytics chapter in Bangalore. In this role, you will modernize the PSW client reporting application infrastructure, migrating legacy frameworks onto a modern cloud-native stack. The position blends distributed application engineering with modern data plumbing, focusing heavily on delivering Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) modules. You will build highly responsive Java microservices, design scalable transaction loops, configure cloud data management setups, and implement event-driven analytics engines to optimize reporting speed, data sharing parameters, and end-user business intelligence interfaces.

​Requirements:

• ​Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely matching quantitative engineering domain.
• ​3+ years of professional hands-on software development depth using Java.
• ​Proven experience architecting Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) frameworks via enterprise Spring Boot microservices hosted on Apache Tomcat web servers.
• ​Hands-on history bridging front-end UI platforms with backend API endpoints, managing complex state transitions, establishing robust exception/error handling workflows, and parsing REST clients and message queues.
• ​Extensive execution depth deploying Amazon Web Services—specifically provisioning and query-tuning relational stores via AWS RDS alongside optimizing NoSQL configurations inside DynamoDB.
• ​Direct operational familiarity with the Snowflake cloud data warehouse, along with workflow automation pipeline orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• ​Functional capacity to implement advanced platform features, including setting up automated ingestion via Snowpipe, configuring Snowflake Data Sharing models, and handling change tracking through Snowflake Streams.
• ​Solid familiarity managing code deployments across enterprise CI/CD environments using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and container orchestration via AWS EKS or Azure AKS Kubernetes layers.
• ​Experience interfacing with or formatting schemas for reporting layers such as OBIEE or Power BI, alongside administering API Gateway security rules and system telemetry monitoring tools.
• ​Hands-on data engineering footprint (Data Modeling, deep data analysis patterns), legacy procedural programming (PL/SQL, Informatica ETL solutions), or exposure building AI/ML and Generative AI integrations.
• ​Sharp cognitive problem-solving habits inside rapid Agile sprint timelines, active cross-functional collaboration metrics to remove engineering blockers, and excellent interpersonal English communication skills to interact with global architecture leads.
